Sex assault charges for Seneca High teacher

Burlington County, New Jersey  -  A Seneca High School teacher was arrested on March 6th for allegedly having sexual contact with a female student at the school.

The suspect, Eric L. Johansen, 30, of Mount Laurel, NJ, is charged with third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact resulting from an encounter on the 8th of March.  Johansen has spent four years at the Lenape Regional High School District.  He is also involved with the football and wrestling teams.

Few details of the case have been released in order to protect the identity of the victim. 

He has been moved to a position that does not involve contact with students, pending an investigation.  Johansen faces 5 years in prison.
